Let's start off by stating the obvious; a good transmission guy is someone you want to know but don't ever want to have to visit... Transmission repairs are usually costly and you are going to be without your vehicle for a while because of ordering parts, testing and there is always come unforseen tradgedy that strikes if it is the exact time that you cannot afford it. That being said I am soooo suprised that I had a good experience paying to have my transmission worked on.
Rob was funny and always got back to me if I called him for an update, I am a little bit of a hand holder when it comes to my car... There were multiple problems with my situation on top of the fact I just bought the car from someone who did not tell me the car had transmission problems AND Rob helped me get the work I needed at a price I could afford.
I hope I don't need to see him again very soon BUT when my engine light goes on OR if there is anything that happens with my transmission I would definitely do business with this AAMCO again.
*** Just a side note to anyone who does not know much about cars/car repair. If you take your car/truck in for transmission work you should just assume it will be a while. You would not want the doctor to rush your lasik eye surgery and you should never rush your mechanic. It may be inconvenient for a couple days but once you have your baby back you will be happy again.
I am just saying you should try to be reasonable.. The only reason I say this is because another review was saying things about their car not being done in 2 days like he thought it would and how upset he was with AAMCO. Dont get upset at the people fixing your car, take that energy and bug the people that made your car.
In closing Rob was AWESOME, whatever they are paying him it should be more!!
