I am working with the FTC Consumer Response Center in Washington to investigate this company after I discovered 2 unauthorized "hard inquiry" credit checks they did on me -- interestingly enough on a Saturday and Sunday. They have not responded to my attempts to contact them. As many people know, a "hard inquiry" lowers your credit score. Since this was completely unauthorized by me, and this is a California company, even though I live in New York City, the whole thing seems very strange and illegal. I'm very concerned about this and have been trying to find out anything I can about them. But it seems to be kind of a vapor company.
