The quality of customer service is extrmemly horrible. I never encouter such bad service in my life. they do shady business, and they have unprofressional employee which put my life in dangour position.
Recently, I went to the auto to do timing belt service for my 6-cyclinder elcipse car. I went there because i saw their promotion at pennysaving and the price is reasonable.
couple days after i got my car back, the engine light is on. my car didn't have this symptom before i dropped my car to the autoshop. of course, i came back to shop and talked with the manager Sandiago. the manager kept claim it is misfire issue not related to mechanical problem because what they do is timing belt. and the detective code "300". it should be spark plug. adn said "why didn't i go to other shop. if other shop find out the problem related to their shop. they will pay me back. "
so i went to a viet shop and ask the owner to fixed the engine light. the owner open the front hook, see a loose screw which MKO didn't do the job right. so they detected "300" also, which mean changing spark plugs. so they change spark plugs for me, reset the memory, and ask me to drive certain distance to collect data. So i did what they said; however, my car's engine light was still on; plus, my car has some weired noise from the front side. i almost have car accident when i was driving on the way due to misfire with my manual car. It happend misfired twice even i drove a short distance. so scared when you are driving a car in big trouble. i went to viet shop again for the problems i found. the viet boss is so nice. he said" my friend, i don't want you be unhappy. left the card here, I will take care for you personally.
the viet boss spent two weeks to fixed my car problem. he first tried to kill noise and fixed the engine light. he found out the root cause is because of loose timming belt made by MKO autoshop. I asked the viet boss to take some picture and write note for my compensation because I trust what the manager said that i will be covered for money to fixed problem.
when I try the appropiated way for my compensation, you will see the totally different treatment which i once thought they were nice people. Honestly, i explained to manager and show him the picure and notes tooken from the other shop. The mananger agree they made mistake, and never pay for compensation. he said his boss would call me to solve the problem on tuesday 11/1/11. but when i call on wedsday 11/2/11, the manager said his boss was still out of town and will call me on thursday. but i never receive any call from them.
I felt bad about this shop because of their non-responsiblity to customer.
1. Manager agree they made a miskate. but they didn't appologize for what they done for me. I dropped my car to fix for two weeeks. I need to ask my girlfriend to wake up so early and drive me to work; then she went to school or work. and Because that, I quarrel with my girlfriend several times.
2. because of MKO autoshop unprofessional skill, it put my life in dangerous situation. I was so scared when i knew i driving a troubled car on the way. the car has misfire and almost have car accident. but when i approached for my compensation, they refused it.
3. when i approached to solve the problem. the manager said the boss was out of town and will be back on tuesday 11/1/11. and will contacted me. but today is thursday 11/3/11, i never the receive any phone call from the boss. i felt sad about that because i have strong feeling that the boss is not willing to contact me after the shop made a mistake to my car.
4. comparing the viet shop, the viet owner will asked me to leave the car for investgation for two weeks. and finally charge me at cheap price $400. but the same situation, when i stopped by MKO, the manager put the problem away. said "300"-spark plug misfire is eletical problem, not caused by them. When I find out the root cause by them, they avoid the responsibility again.
BE smart for the people who see this comment because you don't want to face the same situation as mine.
