I have owned a 1995 911 for the last 12 years. I wanted to find a mechanic that was both trustworthy and reasonably priced. What i found with Doug and PS racing was more than I could have hoped for. Doug has been the only person to service my vehicle since. Doug knows more about 911s than anyone I have known and he is also great at explaining what needs to be done in terms that are easy to understand. What impressed me most about Doug is his honesty. He knows exactly what needs to be done and does it. He has on more than one occasion talked me out a service I thought I needed and fixed only what truly needed to be fixed. It is rare to find a mechanic honest enough to turn down work and put the customer's best interest first. Doug's prices are always reasonable and fair, what he charges for an oil change is just a fraction of what the dealer would charge. He told me his philosophy is that if I come to him for oil changes I will come to him when I have other service needs. Over the years Doug has done tune ups, oil changes, major services, brake jobs, AC repair and so on. Every time the bill has been at or below the quoted price and the car has been delivered on time. Doug is not only an amazing mechanic but a great person as well who truly does what he does because he enjoys it. Quality work at a fair price is a rarity. PS Racing is not the prettiest shop in town but it is far and away the best place to take any Porsche in need of repair.
