Property Tax adjusters and their services are unecessary and useless. They make money in weak economic times by sending mass mailers claiming they can reduce your property tax. When your home loses equity, the city will automatically reduce your taxes as they re-evaluate the value of your home. You can work directly with your local property tax adjuster to track the decision process. They have a "money back guarantee" that is likewise useless. There is no way to prove that your adjusted tax is due to their filings with the city, or the number the city would have seen anyway. My house seems to have been de-valued at the same rate as my neighbors suggesting they did nothing other than file some papers and take my money. I was foolish and fell for it. Don't waste your time.
