No item received but no credit of my money in over a month - Ridiculous
I have an order that was placed over a month ago that was cancelled by me. I ordered through SelectFoam online and then called customer service to cancel a week later. I discussed with customer service that I would like to cancel the topper and place a
new order at a later date for a full mattress through Select Foam instead when I had the funds. I never received an item and was told I would be credited the charge for the topper right away. I have placed over 8 phone calls and sent emails. I have had no
response to the emails and every call I am told that I will see a credit "very soon". It has been over a month and no credit has appeared. I have asked repeatedly for the exact date the credit was processed only to be told, it was already done, but I have
never been given a date. I have asked to speak directly to accounting and was told that was not possible. What kind of company does not have someone in accounting that is reachable by phone? My original reason for cancelling an order for a topper was to purchase
an entire mattress, after this complete lack of response to return my charge for an item I never received I will not be pursuing a mattress purchase through SelectFoam at all. I feel I have been extremely patient and was very curteous with every call & email
to this company. At one point I was told by a service agent "we make thousands of dollars a day, we do not need to keep your $300", I have never accused anyone of trying to keep my money, however the question becomes why do they still have it over a month
later?! I would like proof that this credit was applied to my account sent to me via email today or for the credit itself to show in my account. My bank processes credits in under 48 hours so I know that is not the issue. I do not know any other company who
operates this way. I am placing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau today and will post a review about my expericence to warn other shoppers of the practices of SelectFoam. If I do not either see a credit to my account or proof that it was processed
by the end of business today I will place a fraud alert with my bank on the charge amount. EDIT: *Credit received in full 39 days after original order, it should not have taken this long, this many phone calls, or have taken any negative steps on my part to
receive it but unfortunately it did*
