Review 2/14/2010
I placed an order with Storkie Express for custom stamps for my wedding invitations and paid $22 for rush delivery which is stated as 2-4 business days on their website. Due to fraud problems they have experienced, Storkie placed a hold on my order without making it clear to me. They called me two days later to confirm the order, and after verifying my info they told me the order was released and would arrive in 2-4 days. One week later they had not arrived, so I called customer service. They told me the order was not yet verified, so I had a fun time re-verifying my information. The order arrived a total of 10 business days after I placed the order, and Storkie refuses to give a refund for the rush order charge. Now my wedding invitations are late, my fiancé is pissed, and I’m out $22 for a service that was never provided. The icing on the cake was that the stamps I received actually have “stamps.com” written on them, and this was not shown in the original picture on their website. Now I get the joy of advertising for some website on my wedding invites. One main reason I bought these stamps was because the picture as shown on Storkie.com did not have a website displayed on the stamps. Their customer service never responded to my formal written complaint requesting refund of the rush order charge. I will never do business with them again.

Business's response - by Storkie Expresson 2/16/2010
Hi Christopher, I'm sorry to hear about your disappointment with Storkie. We have had a lot of issues with fraudulent stamp orders and have heightened our precautions with verifying that the purchase was legitimate, and even more so when the Bill to and Ship to are different. As such, we send out an email immediately to the customer asking for them to call us so that we can verify the purchase with their credit card issuer. My notes say that you did not call per the email instructions, and that when we called you, your answers were vague, including "didn’t know he placed a stamp order", "didn’t know who we were", then "thought maybe his fiancé had ordered it", and "didn’t remember getting our email". Upon final verification of your credit card information, we called you and left a message that we were ready to place the order. My notes show that you returned the call over 24 hours later, at which point we offered to cancel the order and credit in full, and you said "Place the order", knowing that the timing was no longer the 2-4 business days from when the order was originally placed. We take our customer's security very seriously. And any orders that look potentially fraudulent are screened diligently, which may of course add time to the delivery window. We hope you understand our customer security policy. And further can appreciate that we did do everything in our powers to contact you and verify your information in order to facilitate shipping out your order as quickly as possible. I hope you will reconsider using Storkie in the future. Your issue and frustration is in the vast minority of the experiences and feedback we get (you can read more at http://www.storkie.com/t-testimonials.aspx). Best wishes for the upcoming nuptials, Storkie Express
